Voxdemy Internship Programme at the Best Psychiatric Hospital in Chennai at Pallavaram. 

Duration :

Batch starts on Oct 1st 2025 and will end on Nov 1st 2025. 

Tuesday to Saturday - 10 am to 5 pm - Direct experience at Shaditya Hospital Pallavaram . 

Monday - 5 online sessions - 10 am to 11 am . 

Recorded sessions will be available for online sessions. 

Eligibility 

- Psychology students (undergraduate, postgraduate, or diploma level) only . 

- Must be above 18 years old .

- Should have completed a degree in psychology or currently pursuing UG / PG / Diploma in Psychology 

- Passion for mental health and patient care.

   - Theory Classes:

   - Practical Training: 
     - Interns will shadow mental health professionals during consultations, therapy sessions, and diagnostic evaluations. 

3. Hands-On Experience
   - Patient Interaction: 
     - Interns, in groups of five, will be assigned to specific hospital units. 
     - Under supervision, they will observe and engage with selected patients, focusing on therapeutic communication and behavior management. 
   - Specialized Departments: 
     - Exposure to departments such as addiction therapy, adolescent psychiatry, geriatric care, and emergency interventions. 

4. Mentorship and Supervision
   - Interns will receive guidance from a team of experienced psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, and social workers. 
   - Regular feedback sessions will help refine skills and understanding.
